Rese – Week of January 12, 2026

My Thoughts💭:

I started out the week fairly good, feeling energized and ready to tackle my goals; however, things took a serious downward turn rather quickly. My body had a strange and uncomfortable reaction to something, possibly the Pecan Milk or maybe the sudden influx of raw veggies I had introduced into my diet. Regardless of the culprit, my gut and the flow of certain things were not on board at all. I experienced severe bloating and gas from both ends, which was not only uncomfortable but also quite embarrassing. To add to my misery, I was plagued by severe constipation, leading to an overwhelming sense of heaviness. For me, this also translates to severe inflammation in my back, which in turn leads to high levels of pain and annoying leg spasms that make it hard to find a comfortable position. By the end of the week, I was pretty much confined to my bed or sprawled out lazily on the couch, drained and frustrated by my body’s rebellion. Next week, I’ve got to put my health first and try to do things differently, perhaps incorporating gentler options into my meals while making a conscious effort to listen to what my body is telling me.
